Wow, didn't realise it's been several weeks since my last update!

Yes, I'm alive!  I hope that I'll update properly here soon, especially with more things I'm trying to integrate from my Goddess Conference experience.  It's been a manic month with no stopping! I've just posted a long update filled with announcements over my Avalon Blessings blog, so check it out if you feel so inclined!

There's a couple things to look forward to this week.  Tuesday, 21st September, is World Peace Day.  In her book, Cult of Aphrodite, Laurelei Black details a Rite of Peace ceremony to perform on 1st April when Aphrodite's month takes over from Ares' month.  Although I know that rite is specific for that time, I am inspired to maybe do a modified version of this rite in celebration of World Peace Day.  Not sure yet but I'm feeling a bit inspired.

And then on the Autumn Equinox on the 23rd is the Adonia festival, the festival in which Aphrodite mourns Adonis.  Again, Laurelei puts forth in Cult of Aphrodite a wonderful ceremony of honour.  As I am doing it on my own though I may modify it.  That particular day looks to be a high energy day for me as it's full moon, there is the Equinox celebration of the Avalonian wheel and then a friend is hosting a meditation evening.  So what I do that day remains to be seen!

In the meantime, a prayer:-

Beloved Aphrodite
Beautiful bountiful Lover Mother Goddess of the Garden, the Sea and the Heavens
I bow down in humble gratitude for all You bestow upon me:
My lover husband, my daughters, the love in my heart and in my home, the nourishment only You can provide
I offer up my thanks through the offerings to You upon my altar.
Blessed be.
